Using web browser SOD OS I’ve got a compatibility error with some of the sites not supporting my browser or supporting only Internet Explorer. How can I view these sites? Response: Some websites check up the type of browser you use (check user agent) to ensure full compatibility of the site prohibiting navigation of the unsupported browsers. SOD Internet browser allows you to select the compatibility mode by changing the user agent so that the website we are trying to access recognizes our browser. To make this change you should follow these steps: Open your web browser Select "Tools" from the toolbar at the top Select "Default User Agent" and choose the desired user agent The useragents currently available are: Internet Explorer 6, 7, 8, iPhone 3.0 and Firefox2. Once the change is accomplished you may access to the website. N.B. Make this change each time you restart your web browser if you want to visit the sites that perform this check.
